What it is

A hand-finished wooden mould that stamps a raised 3D design into raw cookie dough before baking. The carved relief transfers cleanly to the surface of each biscuit, giving you bakery-quality patterned cookies with no fuss. Ideal for shortbread, gingerbread, and any firm dough where the design needs to hold its shape in the oven.

How to use

Before first use, wipe with a dry cloth and lightly coat the carved face with vegetable oil — this seasons the wood and prevents sticking. Chill your dough well before pressing, then dust the mould lightly with flour or icing sugar. Press firmly and evenly into the dough surface, hold for a moment, then lift cleanly. Transfer the stamped dough to a baking sheet and bake as usual. After use, brush away any residue with a dry brush — do not soak or wash with water, as this can warp the wood. Store away from direct sunlight and excess heat.
