What it is
Zigmas Scandinavian Herring Classic is Atlantic herring (Clupea harengus) fillet, skinless, lightly salted in the Scandinavian tradition and preserved in rapeseed oil. The result is a mild, clean flavour with a silky texture — firm enough to slice, tender enough to melt.
Zigmas is a Lithuanian producer specialising in cured and marinated herring. The Classic range keeps the preparation simple: good-quality Atlantic herring, measured seasoning, and oil — nothing more.
