A fragrant semi-sweet white from Hungary’s most celebrated wine region
HUNGARY · TOKAJ REGION · 750 ML
What it is
Tokaji Sárgamuskotály is a semi-sweet white wine made from the Yellow Muscat grape grown in Hungary’s Tokaj wine region — one of the oldest and most prestigious wine appellations in the world, with a winemaking heritage stretching back centuries. Sárgamuskotály (Yellow Muscat) produces naturally aromatic wines with a distinctive floral and stone-fruit character.
At 11% ABV this wine sits on the lighter, more approachable end of the Tokaj range. The residual sweetness is balanced by crisp natural acidity, making it pleasant both as an aperitif and alongside food.
Tasting Notes
Pale golden in colour. The nose opens with apricot, peach blossom, and honey, underscored by a gentle muscat perfume. On the palate the wine is soft and semi-sweet with a refreshing acidity that lifts the finish. Pairs well with mild cheeses, fruit tarts, and light Eastern European pastries.
Ingredients
Sárgamuskotály (Yellow Muscat) grapes, sulphur dioxide (preservative).
