Grammy Khvanchkara — Georgian Semi-Sweet Red Wine
From the highland vineyards of Racha, naturally sweet and perfectly balanced
GEORGIA · GRAMMY COLLECTION · 750 ml · 11.5% ABV
What it is
Khvanchkara is one of Georgia's most celebrated wines, produced in the historic Racha-Lechkhumi region of western Georgia. It is made exclusively from two indigenous varieties — Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli — and achieves its characteristic sweetness naturally: grapes are harvested late when accumulated sugar arrests fermentation, with no artificial addition.
Grammy Collection interprets this PDO in the classic style: a deep ruby-garnet pour with aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries, and violet, opening into a soft, round palate with balanced acidity. Pairs beautifully with mature cheeses, walnuts, and roasted meats.
Grape Varieties & Composition
Aleksandrouli and Mujuretuli — both indigenous to the Racha uplands. No artificial sweetening; the residual sugar is entirely natural, as required by the Khvanchkara PDO specification.
Check the back label for the full composition declaration on the specific bottle.
