What it is
Pressed from ripened sunflower seeds grown in Krasnodar region, this unrefined oil retains its natural amber colour, a pronounced roasted-seed aroma, and a full, slightly nutty taste. Not deodorised or bleached — the flavour and fat-soluble nutrients come through as they would from freshly pressed seeds.
Best over salads, cold borsch, vinegret and grain dishes. Also good for dressing boiled potatoes, sautéed vegetables, or rye bread with salt. Due to its lower smoke point, avoid high-heat frying.
