Sherbet "Timosha" Milk & Nut
Dense, creamy Russian fudge with roasted peanuts
RUSSIA · TIMOSHA · 250 G
What it is
Russian sherbet (шербет) bears no resemblance to the Western icy dessert — it is a dense, creamy fudge made from sugar and molasses, enriched with whole milk powder and studded with roasted peanuts. Made by the Azovsky Food Plant in Russia, Timosha sherbet has a firm yet melt-in-the-mouth texture and a warm, caramel-and-cream flavour that has made it a favourite confection in Russian households for decades.
Ingredients
Molasses, sugar, roasted peanuts (peeled), margarine (refined deodorised vegetable oils in natural and hydrogenated form, water, emulsifiers: mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, polyglyceryl fatty acid esters, whole milk powder, salt, cream flavouring, acidity regulator: citric acid, natural colour: annatto), purified water, egg white powder.
