The emerald tarragon classic — herbal, fizzy, unmistakably green

What it is
Tarhun is one of the most recognisable soft drinks of the former Soviet Union — a strongly carbonated lemonade flavoured with tarragon, the aromatic herb behind its fresh, anise-like fragrance and famous emerald colour. The recipe traces back to Georgian (Sakartvelo) tradition and has been loved across Eastern Europe since the 1960s.
Selita Klasika, brewed by Kauen Craft in Kaunas, is one of the few producers keeping the classic alive in the EU. Their version is refreshingly herbal with a subtle bitter-spice note from carefully selected herbs — gently sweet, lively, and best served properly cold. The 1.5L bottle is the sharing size: right for a table of guests or a shelf in the fridge door.
