What it is
Traditional Baltic dark rye — dense, moist crumb made with rye sourdough fermented over many hours. Slightly sweet from long fermentation, firm crust with a clean tang.
Slice thinly under herring, smoked fish, hard cheese or pickles, with butter and tea. Toasts beautifully on the third day.

Whole rye flour, water, rye sourdough, wheat flour, salt, sugar, malt extract, caraway.
