What it is
Mednieku (hunter’s in Latvian) are pork grill sausages made by Rīgas Miesnieks, one of Riga’s longest-standing meat producers. Seasoned with a robust spice blend and formed in a beef collagen casing, they crisp and char on a hot grill while keeping the inside juicy.
At 300g, this is a compact two-to-three-serving pack designed for fast, no-fuss grilling. Cook over medium-direct heat for 8–10 minutes, turning once or twice, until evenly coloured. Equally good in a ridged griddle pan on the hob.
