Prianiki «Amber» (Yantarniy)
Soft honey-glazed gingerbread in the classic Russian tradition
RUSSIA · AMBER · 400 G
What it is
Yantarniy — meaning “Amber” — refers to the warm golden glaze that sheathes each of these soft Russian gingerbread rounds. These are the prianiki Russians reach for at tea time: pillowy inside, lightly spiced with cinnamon and clove, finished with a thin crackle of sugar icing that catches the light just so. At 400 g, the bag is generous enough to share — or to keep going through a long pot of tea.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, sugar, invert sugar syrup, honey, margarine (palm oil, water, salt, emulsifier E471), whole egg powder, spices (cinnamon, clove), raising agents (sodium bicarbonate, ammonium bicarbonate), vanilla flavour.
