What it is
PIENIŠKOS — “milky” in Lithuanian — are classic pale-cased cooked frankfurters made with pork and dried milk, following the Baltic tradition of fine-grain, lightly seasoned boiled sausages.
Fully cooked and ready in minutes: simmer in water for 3–4 minutes, pan-fry until golden, or steam. Delicate in flavour with a smooth, tender bite — equally at home in a lunchbox or alongside mustard and rye at the table.
