About this product
A mixed jar in Steinhauer's Ural-recipe style: small honey mushrooms, slippery jacks and oyster pieces marinated together with garlic, dill, bay, clove and acetic acid. The Ural marinade is more assertive than the Polish style — sharper, herbier, well-spiced — and lifts the simpler mushrooms in the mix.
Drain, dress lightly with sunflower oil and onion, and serve as a single-jar zakuska when you don't want three jars open. Particularly useful chopped into Olivier or vinaigrette to give the salad that recognisable forest-mushroom character.
