What it is
Mario’s “Nuts” are a well-loved Eastern European biscuit: small, walnut-shaped shortbread shells baked until golden and crisp, then sandwiched together around a filling of dulce de leche. The filling is a slow-cooked condensed milk cream with a deep caramel sweetness. A satisfying crunch on the outside, rich creaminess within.
