What it is
Poppy Dance is a traditional Easter kulich — the tall, round celebration bread found on Eastern European tables at Easter. Made in Lithuania by Kepėjas (Lithuanian for «Baker»), this 420 g loaf is leavened with yeast, enriched with eggs and butter, and generously studded with poppy seeds throughout the crumb. A thin sweet glaze on top keeps the crust moist and adds a gentle sweetness. Ready to eat — slice and serve as is, or warm briefly for a softer crumb.
