What it is
Laima is the oldest and best-known chocolate maker in Latvia, baking and conching in Riga since 1870. This is their large-format milk chocolate bar — the kind you'd find on a Baltic kitchen counter, broken into squares to share over tea or coffee.
The chocolate itself is smooth and creamy, with at least 30% cocoa solids. Whole roasted hazelnuts (around 17%) run through every row, so almost every piece breaks with a nut inside. Snap one off, let it melt slowly, and the hazelnut comes through warm and toasty against the soft milk chocolate.

Sugar, whole roasted hazelnuts (17%), dried whole milk, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, skimmed milk powder, milk fat, emulsifier (soya lecithin), salt. Cocoa solids minimum 30%.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong odours. Best between 15–20 °C. Once opened, reseal and consume within a few weeks.
