What it is
Rustic kvass brewed the old way — from rye malt, barley extract and dried bread crust, then naturally fermented for 72 hours. The result is a full-bodied, slightly sour bread drink with a clean finish. Low in alcohol (up to 1.2% vol.), it is refreshing on its own and indispensable in traditional okroshka cold soup.
Made by Kvasovar in Belarus, this is the real thing: no artificial flavours, just the yeasty depth that kvass drinkers look for.
Ingredients
Water, sugar, kvass wort concentrate (fermented rye malt, non-fermented rye malt, rye flour), barley malt extract, lactic acid (E270), carbon dioxide, bread, preservatives: sodium benzoate (E211), potassium sorbate (E202).
