What it is
Daktariška is the Lithuanian take on the beloved doctor's sausage — a mild, finely emulsified cooked sausage built on a base of pork and beef. This variant adds whole-muscle ham pieces for a pleasant textural contrast and a fuller, meatier flavour.
Made by Klaipėdos Maistas, one of Lithuania's established meat processors, this 600 g loaf is produced to a traditional recipe. Slice cold for sandwiches, warm briefly in a pan, or serve on a cold-cuts board with pickles and rye bread.
