Ukrainian Bortsch Soup — Kedainiu Konservai, 500 ml
Deep crimson, ready in minutes — classic borscht from Lithuania’s oldest canning tradition
LITHUANIA · KEDAINIU KONSERVAI · 500 ML
What it is
Kedainiu Konservai’s Ukrainian Bortsch Soup captures the bold, earthy flavour of traditional beetroot borscht — richly coloured, gently tangy, and packed with vegetables. Made at the Kėdainiai Cannery in central Lithuania, this ready-to-eat soup is slow-cooked from fresh beetroot, white beans, cabbage, potato, carrot, and onion in a tomato-vegetable base. Open, heat, and serve — no preparation required.
The recipe is fully plant-based, with no artificial colours or preservatives. Rapeseed oil and a touch of acetic acid give the soup its characteristic brightness and long shelf life.
Ingredients
Beetroots (28.6%), water, fresh cabbage, beans, potatoes, carrots, tomato paste, onions, rapeseed oil, garlic, salt, wheat flour, sugar, acetic acid (acidity regulator), spices.
