This one of the most sour candies among Kalev's marmalade candies has an intense cherry flavor and is therefore suitable for sweetening especially for those who do not like very sweet candies. The cherry flavor of the filling is enhanced by a nice chocolate glaze. The soft marmalade at the heart of the candy is made using Estagar, a tart substance obtained from red algae (furcellaria) growing in the Baltic Sea, which is what makes Kalevi marmalade candies unique.
