What they are
Sushki are the small, hard cousins of bublik — tiny dried bread rings, baked dry so they keep for months and stay satisfyingly crunchy. The «Малютка» (malyutka, little one) variety from Хлібодар is the bite-size version, glazed in a thin sweet vanilla shell.
Pour a generous handful into a bowl, brew strong black tea, and you've got the snack that every Eastern-European childhood remembers. Crunchy outside, lightly chewy inside, with the warm scent of vanilla.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, water, sugar, refined deodorised vegetable fat (palm oil and fractions), baker's yeast, salt, raising agent (ammonium bicarbonate), vanilla flavouring. Glaze: powdered sugar, water, vegetable fat.

Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep the bag clipped or transfer to an airtight tin — sushki absorb humidity quickly and lose their snap.
