What they are
Soft round Russian-style gingerbread cookies under a thin white sugar glaze, with a clean mint flavour through the dough. Cooling on the tongue, sweet on the bite — the perfect contrast to hot tea.
The mint variety is a classic in the пряники family — less spiced than honey, lighter than chocolate-coated. The one many people grew up dunking in milk.
