What it is
Chebureki are deep-fried pastries of Crimean Tatar origin that became one of the most cherished street foods across Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia. Our mini version keeps the same flaky, crisp shell and generously seasoned meat filling — compact enough to eat in a couple of bites, satisfying enough to make a full meal.
The filling is prepared from minced beef mixed with finely chopped onion, black pepper and salt, then sealed inside a thin unleavened dough and fried until golden. The result: a crisp exterior with a juicy, flavourful interior.
Best enjoyed warm. Reheat in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 8–10 minutes to restore the crunch. Serve with soured cream, a light tomato sauce, or simply on their own.
