What it is
Jubiliejinis — “the Jubilee” — is one of Delikatesas’s signature hot smoked saveloys, crafted in Lithuania with a blend of pork and beef. The sausage is slowly smoked at low heat, which gives the casing its mahogany colour and fills the interior with a deep, rounded smokiness that cold-smoked sausages rarely achieve.
Slice it thick and serve cold on rye bread, or cut into rounds for a charcuterie board alongside cornichons and mustard. It keeps its shape and flavour whether served straight from the fridge or brought to room temperature.
