What it is
Bochkovie Ostrie — barrel spicy — are whole cucumbers fermented the old way: no vinegar, no shortcuts. Salt, water, garlic, dill, hot pepper and aromatics carry the cucumbers through a natural lactic fermentation that turns them sour, crunchy and deeply savoury. The heat builds slowly from the chilli and horseradish packed into the jar.
