What it is
A classic Lithuanian fermented cabbage, slow-cured in its own brine with carrots and cranberries. The result is a pale-gold, pleasantly sour kraut that holds its crunch. Eat straight from the jar, fold into bigos or kapusniak soup, or braise alongside pork. KKF — Kėdainių konservų fabrikas — has been making traditional pickled and fermented goods in Lithuania for decades.
