What it is
Baked milk (toplenoe moloko) is whole milk slowly simmered at low heat for several hours, which gives it its signature caramel-cream colour and a gentle nutty-toffee aroma.
Drink it warm or cold, pour over porridge, use it for pancakes and rice puddings. A Slavic comfort classic with nothing added but time.
