AKF Almond Kozinak
Roasted almonds, caramelised sugar — nothing else needed
RUSSIA · AZOV CONFECTIONERY FACTORY · 60 g
What it is
Kozinaki is one of the oldest nut confections in Eastern Europe and the Caucasus — roasted nuts pressed together with a hot sugar or honey syrup and left to set into crisp, amber-glazed slabs. AKF's almond version uses whole roasted almonds from the Azov Confectionery Factory in southern Russia, a plant with decades of experience in traditional Eastern sweets.
The result is a satisfyingly crunchy bar where the nutty richness of almond comes through the sweet, lightly caramelised coating. Eat straight from the pack, snap into pieces to share, or crush over porridge and desserts.
