What it is
Adyghe salt is a traditional seasoning from the Adyghe Republic in the North Caucasus — a blend of coarse salt, crushed garlic, and dried herbs that has seasoned meat, poultry, and game in the region for generations. The garlic permeates the salt crystals during production, giving the blend a mellow depth rather than the sharp bite of raw garlic powder. Use it wherever a recipe calls for plain salt to add character without adding complexity — over a chop before grilling, rubbed into a joint before roasting, or stirred into a dry brine.
