What it is

A richly illustrated 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle reproducing Melody, an oil painting by Russian artist Olga Suvorova. Trained at the Repin Academy of Arts, Suvorova is celebrated for her ornate, theatrical compositions — her style draws on the Pre-Raphaelites, Gustav Klimt, and Russian icon tradition. Melody transports us to a sixteenth-century Italian commedia dell’arte scene: silk, velvet, jewels, embroideries, musical instruments, flowers, and birds woven into a painting delicate in feeling yet undeniably vibrant in colour.
