What it is
Georgian lemonades are a style of their own: sweet, bright, fizzy and flavoured with fruit and herbs rather than lemon alone. Feijoa is one of the classic flavours in the Zedazeni range. Feijoa, also called pineapple guava, grows along Georgia's Black Sea coast. It has a perfumed taste somewhere between pineapple, guava and strawberry, with a slightly green, minty edge.
The lemonade is pale golden, sweet and lightly tart, with lively bubbles. Serve it well chilled (5–10 °C) on its own, with ice and a slice of lime, or alongside khachapuri, khinkali and grilled meats. It comes in a classic 0.5 L glass bottle.
Ingredients
Water, sugar, carbon dioxide, acidity regulators (citric acid, ascorbic acid), natural feijoa flavouring, preservative (sodium benzoate), safflower concentrate, colours (caramel IV, E133 brilliant blue FCF).
