Russian Standard Original is one of the world's best-known premium vodkas, crafted from winter wheat grown on the fertile steppes of southern Russia. The spirit is distilled four times and filtered through activated charcoal and quartz crystal, yielding a neutral profile with a gentle warmth and a smooth, dry finish.
The brand takes its name from the quality standard set by chemist Dmitri Mendeleev in 1894 for a government-grade spirit. Produced by Russian Standard Company in St. Petersburg, this vodka holds its own served ice-cold as a shot, over ice, or as the base of a classic cocktail.
