What it is
Adzhika is one of the defining condiments of the Caucasus — a bold, thick paste built from hot red peppers and garlic, sharpened with salt and deepened by traditional spices including coriander and fenugreek (utskho-suneli). The «Gruziya» variety follows the Georgian recipe: direct heat with an aromatic herbal quality that sets it apart from a plain hot sauce.
Spread on rye bread or lavash, stir into soups and stews, rub onto meat before grilling, or serve alongside khinkali and khachapuri. A spoonful stirred into a tomato sauce or vinaigrette adds instant depth and warmth.
