What it is

A traditional Russian matryoshka set in the classic sarafan (sundress) style. Each of the five wooden figures is hand-painted and depicts a rosy-cheeked girl in a decorative sarafan with a matching headscarf and floral ornaments. The tallest doll stands approximately 18 cm and nests the remaining four inside — from large to tiny. Made in Russia from natural linden wood, turned and painted by hand.
