What it is
Malūnininkų — Miller's Bitter — is a traditional Lithuanian digestif produced by Stumbras, one of Lithuania's oldest distilleries, based in Kaunas. Named in honour of the millers who once ground the grain, it draws its character from malt extract and brandy layered over a clean grain-alcohol base. Dark amber in colour, it delivers a warming rye-and-caramel nose with a smooth, pleasantly bittersweet finish. Strength: 50% vol.
