What it is
Suktinis is one of Lithuania's most celebrated honey spirits — a balsam crafted in Stakliškës, a small town in southern Lithuania with centuries of mead-making tradition. The name comes from a lively Lithuanian folk dance, and the drink carries that same character: complex, warming, and full of depth.
Introduced in 1963 on a recipe by A. Sinkeviçius, Suktinis blends natural bee honey with cloves, juniper berries, poplar buds, acorns, and wild berry juices, then matures for 18–20 months. The result is a deep amber spirit with a sweet, spiced nose and a long finish. This 1.0L glass barrel bottle makes it a striking gift as much as a pleasure to pour.
