About this lager
Zelta — Latvian for “gold” — is the flagship pale lager from Aldaris, the largest and oldest brewery in Latvia, founded in Riga in 1865 and now part of the Carlsberg Group. It pours a clear, deep-gold colour with a steady white head, and drinks with a clean malt sweetness, a light hop bitterness and a dry, refreshing finish.
Serve well chilled, between 4–7 °C, straight from the can or poured into a tall glass. A natural match for grilled meats, smoked fish, salty snacks and a slow summer evening.
